Beane River View’s entry to our Christmas Decorations Competition is a fantastic festive scene complete with snowy chimney, Santa and a beautiful Christmas tree which their residents are sure to love!

Beane River View in Hertford was inspected by the CQC on Tuesday 5th April 2016. Following the inspection, the home received the ‘Outstanding’ rating in the ‘Providing a Caring Service’ category, as well as ‘Good’ ratings in all other areas.

Staff at Beane River View have put in some hard work converting an old cabinet into a new Namaste trolley! The trolley is the ideal sensory tool, with relaxing lights, lotions, music, candles and more to help engage the residents’ senses.

Beane River View have introduced menu books for their residents as communication tool and visual aide at mealtimes.

This card was sent to Beane River View from the family of a resident who unfortunately passed away.

Beane River View staff have spent their free time creating themed corners throughout the home, these unique spaces offer sensory therapy and plenty of opportunities for residents to reminisce while they’re in the home, the corners are especially helpful to residents living with dementia.

Love is in the air at Beane River View as one of their residents is celebrating her 61st wedding anniversary!
