Jubilee Court residents always enjoy their Friday Reminiscence sessions. Activity Coordinator Carol is very good at starting a conversation which the residents can then take in any direction that comes to mind!

For Valentine’s Day Jubilee Court carer, Sarah, organised a flower arranging morning. Everyone got fantastically creative and loved having a chat while they get stuck in.

Jubilee Court residents have gotten their RSPB Bird Watching Weekend off to a great start by making bird feeders in the home! Residents enjoyed using their hands to make up the mix of bird seed, mealworm, nuts and more.

Joan and Betty were delighted to play bagatelle with the children of Larwood School during their weekly visit to Jubilee Court! Betty was actually a teacher during her working life so she especially enjoys the children’s visits and the chance to enjoy a game with them.

Jubilee Court residents had a fantastic day of unit Christmas parties! A festive performance from Three’s Company, featuring the home’s own activity worker Carol Nash, went down a treat with the residents who didn’t hesitate to join in singing along with their favourites!

Jubilee Court resident Hazel had a pleasant surprise when she went to watch the Stevenage Ladies Choir perform in their recent concert.

The first entry for our Christmas Decorations Competition is from Jubilee Court! Carers and residents at have been busy getting their units ready for the festive season! Their decorations include Santa's Grotto; a scene inspired by this year's John Lewis advert and a handcrafted snowman!

Earlier this month, those on Jubilee Court’s Intermediate Care Unit were given a demonstration and food tasting from Wiltshire Farm Foods.

When Activity coordinators at Jubilee Court realised that they had four residents that used to be Brownie leaders, they arranged a trip down to Stevenage Old Town to watch the Brownies and Guides march at The Remembrance Day Parade.
