Ash Wednesday at Beane River View

Beane River View’s Catholic residents were joined today by a Catholic Priest come to give ashes. Today is the start of lent, a very significant day in the Catholic calendar. The Priest met with residents to give them a blessing and present them with ashes. The ashes are used to mark the person’s forehead in the shape of a cross.
