Beautiful Poem Sent in After Family Fun Day

We received this beautiful poem from a gentleman named Eddie Lambert who came along to our Family Fun Day last weekend. Eddie likes to write poems for events he enjoys and we’re very proud that he felt our celebration deserved one! He gave us a framed copy of his poem as a gift and we would like to say a heartfelt thank you, and we’re glad you enjoyed the day!

FAMILY FUN DAY

Went to a family fun day at Quantum Care

Very very nice, I know, I was there

They could not do enough to make you feel at ease

They certainly went out of their way to please

Laid on some dancing, like Ginger Rogers and Fred Astair

Really lovely they seem to dance without a care

Certainly took me back to my younger days

Dancing is a lot different now in many ways

Later put on some Zumba everybody could have a go

You have to keep up with her, no going slow

I know they all did enjoy the day, I heard them say

Could not fault it in any way

I must say the drinks and food were very nice

People went back for more, more than twice

I must say, certainly put on a very good show

I will certainly tell all the people I know.
