Tina, who has been a carer for over 10 years wanted to do this because many of her family have been affected by cancer, including a dear cousin. She was supported by the care team at our Hertford Home who organised a fantastic event with cakes, cream teas and more, and the team were delighted to be joined by many other family and friends who turned out in force to show their support. We were also pleased to also have Nicola Clark, Hertfordshire & Essex Fundraising Manager for Macmillan join us for this lovely event. Beane River’s Home Manager Alison King said “It was a great day - we have raised nearly £1000 which will be split between Beane River View and Macmillan.” Tina’s hair will now go to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which provides real hair wigs for children suffering hair loss. If you would like to support Tina there is still time! You can also make a donation by speaking to our team at Beane River View on 01992 503619 or email Beane@quantumcare.co.uk Congratulations Tina - we are all incredibly proud of you!
