Sweet treats!

Staff at Beane River View in Hertford like to keep the residents sweet, very easy to do with their sweet trolley!  Carer Jane went around all the units with their well-stocked trolley, everyone really loved picking their favourite treats to munch.

Comfort pebbles for Beane River View

Beane River View in Hertford received a gift of beautifully hand painted comfort pebbles for the residents.  They had a fun-filled day writing positive messages on each pebble and will be hiding them in the garden when the sunshine comes back for everyone to enjoy.  Thanks to Jo from

Our homes are still receiving lots of support from the younger generations. Our residents love looking at the cards and drawings being sent in.

Takeaway at Beane River

One of the units at Beane River View in Hertford have decided that they would like to make a regular thing of their takeaway nights.  The residents enjoy fish and chips or chinese takeaway, looks very tempting!

 

Zoo lab

During an intergenerational activity over the festive period, Zoolab came to Beane River View in Hertford and brought with them some cockroaches, snails, snakes, rats and a frog!

 

Christmas Fete at Beane River View

In Hertford, Beane River View Christmas Fete was a roaring success, raising £837.14 for their amenities fund!  They had homemade cakes, refreshments, bric-a-brac, raffle and tombola.  Thanks to all who donated, helped and supported the home!

 

Beane River Breakfast Radio Show

Beane River View in Hertford had a visit from Bernie, he came along with his digital recorder and interviewed the residents about their lives for the "Beane River Breakfast Radio Show" that he made for them.
