Dukeminster Court residents in Dunstable went to Chantry Primary School today for Afternoon Tea and some colouring. The residents loved it - one new resident Ivy said “This is so lovely, thank you for doing this for us - this is what makes my life worth living.”

Dukeminster Court in Dunstable had a visit from Chantry Primary School where they played some garden games with the children and residents.  Holly from Nisa (the school’s local shop) kindly donated £250 towards the intergenerational project, so a big thank you to Nisa Retail too.

Dukeminster Court in Dunstable sadly had a resident pass away recently.  Ron had no family, so Gemma and the other staff decided to create a lovely memorial to remember him by.  He had loved his apple juice, so they planted an apple tree with his ashes in his unit's gard

Dukeminster Court in Dunstable went to Chantry Primary Academy School to have lunch with the children and play some games, they had a lovely afternoon. The residents and children enjoyed it so much that they have arranged for the home to host another gathering in June.

On Tuesday, residents from Dukeminster Court in Dunstable had fun afloat on a canal boat in Northampton.  They had a lovely jaunt and got to see some exciting canal wildlife

Dukeminster Court in Dunstable held a Diversity Day on Thursday. Staff were asked to bring in food from the country that they originate. Residents and staff enjoyed tasting the different foods and ticking off which countries they had a taste from. #diversity #individuality #quantumcare
