Mayfair Lodge residents enjoyed a visit from their very talented volunteer Helen! Helen’s mother is a resident at Mayfair so she’s often in the home playing her piano, violin and singing. The residents love her visits and she’s brilliant at getting them involved in the music!

Mayfair Lodge residents are all ready for the Royal Wedding tomorrow! The home has been decorated throughout by receptionist Angie and activity worker Peter to make sure everything is set up for the big day!

Congratulations to Mayfair Lodge’s Home Manager, Jackie Makwangwala on receiving your Long Service Award for 20 years of outstanding work at Quantum Care!

Q Club members at Mayfair Lodge are always delighted when animals come to visit them in the home! They’re always happy to say hello, have a cuddle and find out about their furry visitors!

Mayfair Lodge residents, staff, family and friends all had a fantastic time at the home’s Christmas Party with a delicious buffet meal and live music from Sandra Grant!

When the activity team at Mayfair Lodge spoke to one of their residents, they found out that she used to work as a secretary. She said she had always enjoyed it so they brought her a typewriter which she was delighted with and started her reminiscing about her old working life.

Mayfair Lodge held their own belated birthday party to celebrate Quantum Care turning 25! Residents and families enjoyed delicious homemade cakes, brownies and cookies, plenty of dancing and live music from spectacular performers!

Through July, residents from all four units at Mayfair Lodge were delighted to enjoy a day out to the seaside. They had a traditional fish and chip lunch followed by ice cream on the sea front before heading into Adventure Land and Amusement Arcades and trying their hands at a few of the games!

Mayfair Lodge residents and guests enjoyed a party in the sunshine last weekend, made special by a performance from an Elvis tribute who quickly had everyone singing along!
