Mountbatten Lodge news

Residents at Mountbatten Lodge enjoyed a fun-filled festive period with a performance from Three’s Company on Christmas Eve as well as carol singing from the staff choir! The celebrations continued with two Christmas Parties, each with different entertainment.

The Gingerbread House competition was settled at yesterday’s Christmas Party! All our entrants gave it a brilliant effort, but Mountbatten Lodge were declared the winner for their fantastic (and delicious looking!) entry. Well done to all involved!

Residents of Mountbatten Lodge enjoyed a couple of lovely days out to the Van Hage and Crew Hill Garden Centres in Ware and Enfield. The two groups browsed the shops and had lunch at the café before going to meet Santa in his grotto.

Mountbatten Lodge is ready for Christmas as the decorations are all up and spreading festive cheer! Administrator Rachel and Housekeeping Manager Amy are very enthusiastic about creating a wonderful Christmassy setting for residents, staff and families.

A treat for the residents of Mountbatten Lodge as Carol came from Jubilee Court, along with several of their residents, to sing and entertain! She got everyone singing along and gave the residents a chance to chat and spend time with each other.
