Providence Court news

In spite of the wet weather, lots of brave chocolate lovers turned out to join Providence Court’s Easter Egg Hunt. They started the day with some arts and craft, then headed outside for egg hunting and finished off with beautiful sweet treats!

Residents on Beaches unit at Providence Court had a fantastic time baking! They all enjoyed the activity and the finished cakes were absolutely delicious!

Providence Court are happy to welcome two pairs of budgies to the home! The residents named the pairs Romeo and Juliet and Sunny and Skye. Romeo and Juliet were named because they never leave each other’s side while Sunny and Skye are very lively and chatty!

Families and friends braved the snow last week to get to Providence Court’s Time for a Cuppa morning in aid of Dementia UK! The morning went brilliantly with live singing, plenty of dancing, tea and coffee and a cake or two!

Providence Court took part in the Big Garden Bird Watch and put plenty of preparation into the event. They had coloured pictures of birds around the home and bird cakes made up to hang in their garden!

Providence Court residents were delighted to receive a selection of Christmas presents from the ladies from the WI!

Yesterday saw two of our Silver Walks rolled into one! The shorter journey set out at 9:45 from Providence Court in Baldock to Garden City Court in Letchworth Garden City, a distance of 3 miles.
