The knitting club at Willow Court, started by one of the volunteers at the home, have been working on knitting squares to be made into blankets which the residents have decided to donate to the homeless across Hertfordshire!

Willow Court’s Q Club members enjoyed a canal boat trip at Nash Mills Hemel Hempstead! They loved the chance get out and do something a little different and had a fantastic time relaxing on the canal.

Willow Court enjoyed a visit from this cheeky tortoise recently, courtesy of the Zoo Lab! He was very popular with the residents and brought some of his creepy crawly friends with him as well as a snake!

Welcoming Willow Court’s new activity care worker Rachel to the team! Rachel has already been taking part in her first activities with the residents; a spot of gardening in the morning followed by the weekly dominoes club in the afternoon!

The weekly Wednesday knitting club at Willow Court, a mix between residents and Q Club members, have been working very hard making squares to fit together into a blanket!

Willow Court put on a very special event this Mother’s Day: their own restaurant quality fine dining night! Some of our residents and families can’t always go out and enjoy a meal together in a restaurant, so the team at Willow Court brought the restaurant to them.

Willow Court residents have been getting creative with a bit of water painting.

A day of reminiscing for our Willow Court residents as the staff brought out a selection of old newspapers and the favourite toys from their childhoods! Residents were delighted to swap stories of their younger years and have another turn with some of the old toys.
