Due to business growth, we are expanding our Learning and Development team and have an exciting job opportunity for a Clinical Trainer to join us. You will support the clinical training provision across a designated portfolio of homes. Assisting the Head of Learning and Development with specific projects in liaison with the Head of Nursing, and acting as a Subject Matter Lead within your own area of expertise and where required.
Main responsibilities:
- Creating, planning, implementing, delivering and evaluating mandatory and clinical courses to meet the needs of staff in accordance with company objectives.
- Ensure that the clinical training delivery to all Quantum Care nursing homes is current, relevant and compliant with statutory and professional standards.
- Evaluate the training experiences of our staff, analyse results and utilise to inform changes / improvements for future delivery
- Provide reports and updates to the Head of Learning and Development and Head of Nursing as requested.
- Liaise with the Head of Nursing to identify and meet clinical training needs and ensure compliance.
- Contribute to the induction programme of newly appointed nursing staff across the company and ensure that it includes all statutory and professional requirements.
Essential Qualifications
• A Level 3 Award in Education & Training, PTLLS, or equivalent
Desirable
• A Nursing Qualification (active PIN)
