Fourfields received an incredibly generous donation of £1715.50 from local organisation, The Box Cleaning Company following their first ever golf day fundraiser.

Residents at The Fairway enjoyed a fantastic visit from Wild Science! They brought in a variety of different animals for residents to hold and stroke, all of which were very popular! Everyone at The Fairway is now looking forward to another visit with a different group of animals for them to meet.

Residents at The Fairway have photo filters and they’re definitely impressed! After a few snaps with animal ears and sunglasses magically appearing they were in gales of laughter and launched into a chat about how different technology is these days!

For the 4th July, The Fairway and Pinewood Lodge residents spent the morning together at the Rickmansworth Aquadrome. It was a great chance for the residents from both homes to get to know one another and say hello to dog walkers out in the sunshine!

Residents from Fourfields enjoyed a trip to Southend; eating fish and chips, playing in the arcade then wrapping the day up with donuts and ice cream!

The Fairway celebrated National Care Home Open Day and the Queen’s birthday together last weekend. Residents, staff and guests enjoyed singing from Chris Ryan, a range of cakes and a few drinks!

Activity worker Billy and some of the residents at The Fairway have been busy making homemade sweet bags for visitors to buy, decorated with blue ribbon and silver butterflies for Quantum Care’s 25th anniversary!

Fourfields residents enjoyed an afternoon at the Clayton Centre having lunch and listening to music. George in particular had a lovely chat with his friends he knew over 10 years ago!

Residents at The Fairway stepped up to help the Chef peel and chop veggies for soup yesterday and had some fun ‘taste-testing’ the ingredients!
