The Fairway residents, Rosemary, Doreen and Elsie have been busy potting flowers ready for the summer and they’re very happy with their colourful garden!

Residents at The Fairway have been taking advantage of the recent nice weather with daily walks to the local park. They love going out for a walk in the sun and always enjoy chatting to the people they come across and saying hello to their dogs!

Margaret House residents are delighted with their new 1950s style diner! It’s the perfect setting for their new milkshake Mondays!

Activity care workers Jackie and Gertie from Fourfields at the Grundy Park Fun Day last week. They went out to tell people about their home and raise money for Fourfields with a raffle of items donated by their local community and an extra prize draw for a £30 Tesco voucher!

St George’s Day celebrations were combined with a birthday party for Tess at The Fairway! Tess turned 102 on the day and had a fantastic time with families and residents listening to Ron Goldsmith performing in the home!

Residents at The Fairway a week of Easter themed activities, ranging from listening to Easter songs and poems to decorating bonnets! On Easter Sunday, David Brierley joined residents and families for a fantastic performance that left everyone looking forward to another visit!

Chexs came in to Fourfields to help residents craft a new animal for their garden! The reindeer was made from scratch from wicker with many residents and staff taking part, guided by the ladies from Chexs.

Residents, families and friends at The Fairway had a fantastic time celebrating St Patrick’s Day last Friday! Ron Goldsmith joined them and kept everyone entertained with his singing while they enjoyed lovely, Irish themed cupcakes made by the home’s chef, Kath.

Margaret House residents had a great time making pizza for National Pizza Day last week! Of course, they had to have a taste test once they were done and all agreed they were delicious!
