The Valentine’s dance and tea party at Nevetts was a great success! Residents and families were up and dancing, singing along to the music and enjoying themselves, taking the odd break to enjoy some tea and cakes!

Margaret House residents had a great time making bird feeders for the Bird Watching Weekend at the end of January!

Residents at The Fairway enjoyed a cheese and bread tasting afternoon, pairing up different cheeses with different types of bread to find their favourite. In fact, they enjoyed it so much that they have decided to make it a regular feature in the home happening every fortnight!

On the 8th of January, The Fairway celebrated what would have been Elvis Presley’s 82nd birthday!

The team at The Fairway made sure that their residents had a fantastic Christmas Day! They got started with a trip around the home to deliver presents to every resident and followed it up with a delicious Christmas Dinner with residents and families and finally, a birthday celebration!

Earlier this month, the Carpenters Park and South Oxhey Methodist Church hosted a Christmas Tree Festival asking local shows and organisations to bring in a tree decorated with things that represent them.

Our next Christmas Decorations Competition entry comes from The Fairway! They have a beautiful real tree very kindly donated by Alex Garden Centre and Barnes Fencing set up in their reception area and surround by presents!

Great work from the Fourfields team in setting up a fantastic Rhythm of Life Board in the home’s foyer!

Residents at The Fairway were joined by Amie Clapson for Remembrance Sunday. She came in to sing old war-time songs with the residents which they greatly enjoyed before joining them for tea and cakes.
