Residents at The Fairway having a fantastic time last weekend making pumpkin and ghost goodie bags for Halloween! They made the shapes from crepe paper and filled them with sweets for a trick-or-treating activity!

Residents and staff having a pink themed day for Wear It Pink! A lovely afternoon tea with cakes helped push their fundraising total up to £65 for Breast Cancer UK!

For the Queen’s 90th birthday, staff and residents at Nevetts sent her a card and recently received a thank you card and letter from Buckingham Palace in response which is now displayed in the home.

Fourfields residents, relatives and staff enjoyed their annual party a few weeks ago and while the rain kept the party indoors, it didn’t dampen any spirits! Singer Robert Knight was a hit with plenty of singing along to be heard throughout the home.

Residents and carers from Seymour bungalow at Fourfields enjoyed a day out to Southend recently. After a stroll along the seafront they stopped for lunch and enjoyed ice creams from the ice cream parlour while watching the children run through the water sprinklers in the pavement.

Residents at The Fairway have been enjoying a spot of gardening planting flowers bought from a local garden centre. In addition to those bought, Laura and Tina from the Anlex Garden Centre doubled the amount of flowers in donations, which we’d like to say a huge thank you for from The Fairway!

Nevetts residents have been enjoying entertainment from Musical Journeys performing songs from the 30s, 40s and 50s! Residents and visitors were singing and clapping along to the wonderful voice of Rachel Hill who will soon be returning to do her production of songs for Summer Holidays.
