The Fairway's celebrations of the Queen's Birthday took place recently with residents enjoying live music, delicious food and beautiful decorations!

Nevetts residents had a fantastic visit to Fanhams Hall in Ware for some afternoon tea! Some residents had previously worked at or stayed in the venue and were quick to share stories and fond memories.

Fourfields residents Betty celebrated her 100th birthday recently in the company of all her friends and family. Betty was particularly proud to get her card from the Queen to mark the special occasion!

The Fairway enjoyed a very special celebration recently as they celebrated resident Tessa’s 101st birthday! Tessa was joined by her daughter Sally, her granddaughter and her best friend Doreen for the party, and she we can confirm she was the very first to get up to dance!

Margaret House resident Martin Power is looking forward to celebrating his 100th birthday in May. Martin has been a Daily Express reader for 70 years so to mark the event, staff at Margaret House contacted the paper and asked them to help commemorate this milestone.

Lee, the son-in-law of Tina and a friend of Care Team Managers Angie and Bev at Fourfields, has donated £20 and two big boxes of shortbread biscuits to the home from his very first black cab fare!

Nevetts recently received this card from the daughter of a former resident. The small token she mentioned was in fact a donation to the home and some chocolates, both of which were very appreciated!
