Mountbatten Lodge in Hemel Hempstead had lots of fun with a pot of tea to share and played some balloon games!

Pinewood Lodge in South Oxhey were joined by the South Oxhey Choir for a festive carol service. Everyone joined in and said how much they enjoyed it, afterwards they had mulled wine and mince pies

At Belmont View in Hoddesdon, resident Margaret from Davison Lounge made some delicious Chocolate Fudge! What a tasty way to use up any leftover chocolate from Christmas, looks yummy!

Boxing Day was a very festive affair at Garden City Court in Letchworth Garden City. Bethan came and sang some Christmas songs for the residents and the Q Club enjoyed a cheeky snowball with some cheese and crackers!

The Mead in Borehamwood had several Christmas parties over the holidays with refreshments, delicious food and lots of fabulous entertainment, including talented staff and family members! 

The family of a resident from Anson Court in Welwyn Garden City runs a market stall regularly in St Albans, so before Christmas they visited the home and had a little market in the cafe!  The residents and staff really enjoyed looking and buying clothes.

The staff at Courtland Lodge all came together to dress up as movie characters for Children in Need. They also had a coffee morning with residents to drink tea enjoy some delicious mini hotdogs and cakes.

As 2019 draws to an end we have taken some time to reflect on some key successes this year. These have been made possible by not only our staff but also our residents and their families and friends and many other groups and organisations in the local communities we live.
