Rosemary at our Greenacres home in Hatfield has always wanted to learn to swim, so with help from the Platypus Swim Club at their local pool they had their first lesson at the weekend! Well done Rosemary! After a few more lessons she hopes to go swimming with her grandchildren

Quantum Care held two exciting competitions between the homes in recognition of #FallsAwarenessMonth.

On Wednesday 29th September the Mayor of Biggleswade Councillor Madeline Russell attended an open day at Mantles Court, our new care home for older people in Biggleswade.

Trefoil House in Luton was host to three of Luton Town’s finest footballers in the shape of current midfielder Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, goalkeeper James Shea and ex-winger Michael Cullen. The three had come together to open the home’s new shop, aptly named The Hatters.

At their #MacmillanCoffeeMorning last week, The Mead in Borehamwood raised £30.73 from the kind donations from staff and visitors to the home on that day. The residents also enjoyed the lovely cakes with a cuppa!

Sometimes, our homes have some surprise animal guests… The residents of Lancaster Lounge at Anson Court in Welwyn Garden City have had the joys of baby pigeons on their balcony! The mother pigeon had made a nest in their tree!

Beane River View in Hertford had a big chair-based exercise event thanks to HCPA Stop Falls campaign – they look like they had a great time while helping increase their stability!
