Debra at Pinewood Lodge in South Oxhey has introduced a Hydration and Snack Station as a treat to thank all the staff for their hard work - any donations to keep their snacks and drinks topped up would be gratefully accepted!

Yesterday was the 101st birthday of Annie from Courtland Lodge in Watford! She had a visit from her family and a tea party with her friends from Berrygrove – hope you had a lovely birthday Annie! Happy birthday from all of us!

Who fancies a brew? Armed with a tea trolley, the staff at Willow Court in Harpenden have been keeping the residents well hydrated by serving a variety of teas with a few biscuits for dunking... delicious!

It is so much fun to get really hands on with the crafts… at Vesta Lodge in St Albans they made some Salt Dough shapes ready to paint, followed by some delicious Chocolate Chip Shortbread to have a with a cuppa!

At Beane River View in Hertford, Louise got to spend some quality time with her daughter as they did a little trip out of the home. They enjoyed a nice walk and a tasty ice cream!

#I’m late, I’m late, for a very important date… the residents at Fosse House in St Albans have been busy decorating hats ready for a special tea party later this month, can’t wait to see what they get up to!

They are snooker loopy over at Meresworth in Rickmansworth! Lynn gave residents Molly and Jim a game… she won the game, so they keen to have a rematch!

Inspired and created by Quantum Care’s Learning and Development Team, many of our homes have been hosting a Mental Health Awareness Workshop for residents and staff this week.

Today is VE Day – where we celebrate Victory in Europe for World War II, on the anniversary of Germany’s unconditional surrender of its armed forces on 8th May 1945. To mark this day, Courtland Lodge in Watford made some rosettes to wear.
