Quantum Care are pleased to announce the appointment of Julian Baust to the Non-Executive Board of Directors.

At Pinewood Lodge in South Oxhey, the residents got stuck into some gardening in the great outdoors, preparing pots and planters with some beautiful blooms.

At Greenacres in Hatfield, the team were very sad to say goodbye to Nick from Housekeeping. He has been with them for over 16 years and is leaving for his well-deserved retirement – good luck to you from all of us at Quantum Care.

When the weather isn’t cooperating, our residents like to play a few games indoors… they are a competitive bunch over on Oak Lounge at Garden City Court in Letchworth Garden City, finding time for bingo AND dominoes!

Have you done a #WednesdayWorkout? Yesterday morning Heath House in Bushey Heath joined in with the HCPA morning workout, followed with a bit of Tai Chi – great work! It is so important to keep active and joining in with regular routines is a clever way to do that.

At Courtland Lodge in Watford they had a lot of left over Easter Eggs… They made good use of them and did a bit of baking, making chocolate rice krispie cakes with mini eggs and maltesers.

Heath House in Bushey Heath are taking part in the #CaptainTom100 challenge, they completed 100 hoops and 100 revolutions of the bike – great work!

More #NationalGardeningWeek action from Elmhurst in Bishop’s Stortford – they were helping each other pot new soil and having a good old chat while doing it. Gardening can be a great group activity, with lots of discussions over the gardens they used to tend in years gone past.
