Up to tricks?  46!  They had a lovely game of Bingo on Grove Unit at Dukeminster Court in Dunstable with Pam, Ray and Jean each having a win!

As this turbulent year starts to draw to a close, residents from Providence Court in Baldock once again have wisdom to share.  They were asked “What advice do you have for people going through hard times?” and here are their responses. 

For International Men’s Day, Fosse House in St Albans laid on a few beers and some choccy to be enjoyed by their men (and women!) -looks like they enjoyed it!

It is great to see that some of the homes are continuing to offer pet therapy in the form of staff bringing in their furry (and sometimes not so furry!) friends.  Carer Tilly at Jubilee Court in Stevenage brought her sweet dog Frankie in to visit, Margaret was taken with them immediately and

Our homes continue to try and help residents keep in touch with their loved ones when they can’t be together.  Willow Court in Harpenden have a busy Skype rotation to keep all the residents up to date with their families and friends. 

Staff in Quantum Care homes across Hertfordshire were delighted to receive Outstanding Achievement Awards at the Hertfordshire Care Providers Association Awards ceremony which took place on Friday 20th November.

Bit of festive baking at Vesta Lodge in St Albans!  Lourdes and Marian enjoyed some Rice Krispie cake making, with festive green icing and chocolate stars, they look yummy!

Our Remembrance Day Competition winners all received their hampers and gift vouchers last week – congratulations to you all for your hard work!  

We are missing the good weather now that winter is starting to bite, so our Garden City Court home in Letchworth Garden City has been having a few “Beach Days” to remind the residents of sunnier times.  Sandcastles, bubbles, snacks and slush puppies – perfect!
