We have a very special birthday to celebrate!  Happy 100^th Birthday to Clare from Beane River View in Hertford!  She had a lovely day opening all of her gifts, and especially loved her card from Queen!  Thanks to the catering team for her amazing cake(s) too!

It is always great to see the homes helping out the community where they can.  Last week, Willow Court in Harpenden did their annual Harvest Festival parcel donation to the Salvation Army who run weekly food banks for local people need extra support.  Well done Willow Court!

Supporting our residents to maintain their faith practices while in our care is so important to us.  At Richard Cox House in Royston, they have a ‘multi-faith’ room for residents to use and they recently got this donation of a lovely crafted picture from Emma to put up - great work!

Residents at Vesta Lodge in St Albans enjoyed a bit of cake and biscuit decorating – they look scrummy!

Evergreen Lounge at Jubilee Court in Stevenage celebrated Guy Fawkes Night making abstract bonfire pictures using shaving foam and paints, as well as enjoying a quiz and some poems.  

Tuesday was #NationalSandwichDay, so Meresworth in Rickmansworth saw the residents making a few for their lunch, stuffing with their favourite fillings and even cutting a few into fun shapes!  

Guy Fawkes Night is upon us! At Pinewood Lodge in South Oxhey, the residents made their own fireworks with plenty of colour and glitter. 

After 21 years as Administrator at Fosse House in St Albans, ‘Auntie’ Pat is retiring!  They had an emotional send off last week, although she said she ‘felt like a bit of a fraud’ because she will be still doing a few hours each week for them for a little while, but it won’t be the same.&nb
