We encourage residents to continue with hobbies, so when Minnie from Trefoil House in Luton said: “I would like to knit a scarf for Yvonne (a carer) but I haven’t knitted for a while, it may take some time.” We helped her get started and she soon got into the swing of things! 

Providence Court in Baldock enjoyed some pet therapy last week when one of the carers brought in her pet ‘Sam the tortoise’. Everyone loved meeting Sam and looks like the feeling was mutual. 

Jubilee Court in Stevenage had a lovely surprise visit last weekend when a muntjac deer came into the garden for a nibble on the shoots and shrubs available. Residents quietly took a peek through the window to see the beautiful wild animal. #wildlife

Wondering what to have for breakfast today? Here’s a tasty idea! Greenacres in Hatfield decided on Waffles one day this week, not the shop brought ones oh no! After they stirred the batter to perfection they chopped lots of fruit treats to choose from with syrup and cream of course.

It’s important to maintain a healthy diet but sometimes the same food gets boring. Residents at Meresworth in Rickmansworth enjoyed a delicious Romanian Banquet this week prepared by Catering Assistants Vasile and Adrian, and Administrator Gabi. Mâncare gustoasă!  

Willow Court in Harpenden were so inspired by #NationalFriendshipDay that they decided to create a Friendship Wall. Residents enjoyed taking part in making friendship bands and drawing around one another’s hands. They also played a game to described each other in one just word!

We are really pleased to be able to supply our local food banks with re-usable shopping bags for their customers and never would expect anything in return but this week Harlow Food Bank donated four boxes of colouring books / Logic Puzzles / Suduko and Letterfit to residents at Tye Green Lodge.
