Today is National Dog Day, so one of our thoughtful carer’s at Meresworth in Rickmansworth decided that she would bring her beautiful collie Pebbles in to visit the residents. Looks like they all enjoyed the petting and fussing. #pettherapy #nationaldogday 

Europe’s biggest street party, Notting Hill Carnival is moving online this year. There will be a parade and live-streamed events online all weekend to celebrate its 54-year history.

The ladies at Vesta Lodge in St Albans wanted to brighten up their coffee shop so spent Saturday morning painting ‘flower-plates’ to mount on the wall. What a lovely idea! #CreativeCommunities

Nothing like a new ‘do to make you feel like a million dollars!  Residents at Fourfields in Cheshunt are looking rather spiffy after Care Team Manager Maureen gave them a bit of a spruce up.

Residents love to do a bit of baking, making sweet treats and then enjoying them with a nice cuppa.  Meresworth in Rickmansworth made a batch of fudge, looks delicious! 

Earlier this week was #WorldPhotographyDay so Greenacres in Hatfield had a little photo session with the residents as well as learning about some of the history. 

This week the residents from Tye Green Lodge in Harlow had a really fun treat for their breakfast club this week – McDonald’s breakfast!  They really enjoyed tucking into McMuffins, hash browns and milkshakes.

Willow Court in Harpenden always like to go all out for national event days, and #NationalProseccoDay was no exception!  They enjoyed a glass of fizz and some Prosecco jelly with some snacks, as well as a few fun facts and some Pavarotti!
