Our lovely staff have helped Martin, Thelma, Maureen, Pat, Mary, Irene, Joan, Darrel and Marlene to all celebrate their birthdays this week, with cake (and curry for Martin!) and a whole lot of singing! Happy birthday to you all, hope you all had a lovely day!

After some time tending to the garden, the residents at Trefoil House in Luton enjoyed a well-earned rest with an ice lolly and a video of musical entertainment that one of their regular entertainers had sent them.

At Fosse House in St Albans they enjoyed a spot of gardening, both indoors and outdoors!  What lovely cheerful pots they have planted.

Thousands of people will be taking part in the 30 Days Wild initiative starting 1st June! There are ideas and activities for everyone of any age to do just ‘one wild thing a day’ throughout the month. This is good for health, wellbeing and the planet.

Today is National Biscuit Day!  The catering team at Belmont View in Hoddesdon baked some giant biscuits for the residents to really enjoy the day – thanks to Vanessa and Sid, they look delicious!  

Big thank you to Freya and her mum that live close to Richard Cox House in Royston. Staff were delighted when they arrived to work to find some lovely chalk drawings on the ground thanking them for all their hard work. #KindnessMatters

Belmont View in Hoddesdon celebrated “World Turtle Day” last week. Staff member Lisa brought in her pet tortoise Bob, the residents loved meeting him and asking lots of questions. Bob’s favourite snack is strawberries and he follows Lisa around when they are at home!
