<p>Belmont View in Hoddesdon have a “Resident of the Month” programme, where that resident helps to decide meals and activities for the home. This month it is Graham who has picked Haddock, Curry and Rice Pudding for meals and Exercise as his activity – congratulations Graham!</p>

We like to keep our residents active, offering them a variety of physical exercises to keep them fit and well. The residents of Rowan Lounge at Belmont View in Hoddesdon are loving playing a bit of a skittles, what a fun idea for #WorkoutWednesday!

Here’s a bit of the Notting Hill Carnival celebrations from another home, Belmont View in Hoddesdon.  They reused the magnificent masks they made last year and had a giggle taking some pictures, followed by themed colouring and a quiz.

We encourage residents to continue doing the things they love to do when they come to live with us, as demonstrated at Belmont View in Hoddesdon recently when Olga wanted to cook a spot of lunch!  Olga and Activity Care Worker Carla made traditional Portuguese dish Arroz De Pato (Duck Rice)

Music can be so beneficial for those living with dementia, musical memories can last a lifetime. At Belmont View in Hoddesdon, thanks to lovely donations, Activity Care Worker Carla has put together a fabulous music area for the residents to enjoy! 

For #GoodCareMonth, Belmont View in Hoddesdon held a competition between their 6 lounges to see who could be the most creative in promoting the Rhythm of Life values (Care, Relationships, Choice, Individuality, Engagement).

Time to get moving on a Monday morning!  The ladies at Belmont View in Hoddesdon enjoyed a bit of dancing with shiny pom poms, a fun way to get active!  #MondayMotivation
