Courtland Lodge residents had a fantastic time watching a Tickled Pink Production titled “The Swinging Sixties”. The singing and acting was excellent and residents were always happy to be picked for audience participation with props and lyrics printed out!

A beautiful story from Courtland Lodge; the team there were approached by a resident’s family telling them that there was a wedding taking place in the family. However, the big day was lined up to take place in Argentina in September, making it quite difficult for much of the family to attend.

Courtland Lodge broke out the dominoes and board games for their pub night which even saw residents enjoying a few games on the Nintendo Wii along with a few drinks together! A definite success and something a little different for Courtland residents!

Courtland Lodge hosted a fantastic dining club event with families and friends joining residents in the home for a wonderful restaurant style meal!

Wishing a very happy birthday to Jean at Courtland Lodge! Jean celebrated her 90th birthday earlier in the week and spent the day with her niece, her great nieces and nephews and all her friends at Courtlands!

Well done to Courtland Lodge chef Nicholas Hawksworth for his 5 star result on the latest health and hygiene visit!

We’ve been told that Des Kelly’s short film project, featuring members of the Quantum Care team Ash and Leon, has the first cut finished! The project is aimed at trying to attract more men to work in care and speaks to current men in care to find out a bit more about what it’s like.

Courtland Lodge residents enjoyed a fun-filled December, kicking off with a visit from Aimi Percival and continuing with visits from over 100 children from two different local choirs!
