Residents at Courtland Lodge loved the second 2nd visit from Florence the dog at pet therapy. The residents and staff all had a cuddle, instantly Florence was having a positive impact on everyone’s day

Our 15th Silver Walk took place this week with the group from Courtland Lodge in Watford making their way to Meresworth in Rickmansworth, a total of 6.2 miles!

Every morning, Courtland Lodge resident Joan gets the Metro brought to her by the home’s activity worker and after breakfast, she and her friend Jean settle in in the Sun Lounge. Jean works on her word search book while Joan reads her some of her favourite headlines from the day!

Wishing Edna at Courtland Lodge a very happy 101st birthday! She spent her day with friends and family and topping it off with a get-together on Berrygrove unit her fellow residents!

On Friday the 15th, Courtland Lodge residents and staff said thank you and waved goodbye to Vicky who'd been on music therapy placement through 2017. Vicky has enjoyed her weekly sessions with the residents who always looked forward to their Friday with her!

September saw 9 Courtland Lodge residents, as well as activity care worker Aude, celebrating their birthday! Aude organised a collective party inviting all residents and staff with a September birthday to have their name added to the cake.
