A massive well done to the team from Courtland Lodge on completing the 10km Warrior Adrenaline Race at Woodhall Estate last weekend!

Courtland Lodge staff and residents were happy to celebrate the grand opening of their most recent project: the Courtland Lodge Mini-Mart! Resident couple Ken and Jean cut the ribbon alongside home management and fellow residents to officially open the new shop.

Residents, staff, families and friends at Courtland Lodge enjoyed a fantastic Saturday evening BBQ organised by Clarendon unit!

Courtland Lodge residents were joined by international students from a local boarding school recently. They came prepared with everything from board games to cake decorating kits and spent plenty of time chatting to the residents and getting to know them.

The team at Courtland Lodge would like to wish carer Ruth Evans all the best for her retirement as she left the home this week after 20 years of excellent service! Home Manager Ash presented Ruth with a bouquet of flowers and vouchers as a thank you from all in the home for her years of hard work.

Courtland Lodge resident Henry had been struggling to find a challenge at chess in the home whether from residents, staff or visitors.

For St George's Day, residents and staff on Sherwood Unit at Courtland Lodge organised an afternoon indoor street party and invited residents from other lounges to come along! The unit was decorated for the day and everyone got a flag.

Courtland Lodge resident Ron and his wife were delighted when carer Ceri brought her dog in to visit! Ron had once owned a greyhound which he trained and raced which they kept in the family once it was retired.

Pancakes at Courtland Lodge went down a treat at their themed coffee morning! There were plenty of toppings to choose from but nothing could beat sugar and lemon for the residents, although squirty cream and strawberries were a close second!
