Every Saturday at 11am, Friends of Care Homes (Sue and Vicky) hold a wonderful coffee morning at The Mead in Borehamwood with live music, tea, coffee, games and sweet treats - everyone welcome! A big thank you to Friends of Care Homes.

Every other month, Ian comes to The Mead in Borehamwood for Bonkers Bingo. There is singing, playing and having a good laugh the whole time, alongside some refreshments - looks like great fun!

Last Friday the Mead in Borehamwood had a great time with Bonie from G Fitness. She managed to engage everyone in a wonderful way by using music, dance and having a laugh and a joke.

At the end of term, The Mead in Borehamwood honoured an invitation from Parkside Community Primary School to join them for a wonderful afternoon tea party.

Welcome to Maria, our new activity carer at The Mead in Borehamwood! Maria brought fun to a seated exercise session, with a colourful parachute which residents loved and they had lots of laughs trying to keep the balloons moving on the parachute

The Mead in Borehamwood last Saturday had their annual summer garden party with music, food, stalls of crafts, tombola and refreshments to enjoy. Special thanks to our volunteers Ros and Richard, and Barbara for baking.

The Mead in Borehamwood made paper flowers to decorate their reception trees with volunteer Ros, accompanied by tea and cakes to keep them going. Thanks go to her from the home for all the time she dedicates to doing crafts with the residents.
