Here are a few photos from the Mountbatten Lodge Summer Fete 2015. Pictured is one of our lovely residents who enjoyed the event with her daughter.

Dementia Week at Mountbatten Lodge: "Earlier in the year our residents planted seeds with Corinne and during Dementia Week they transplanted them into our raised beds. We are growing carrots, runner beans, radishes and marrows amongst lots of other veggies.

On VE Day the residents of Mountbatten Lodge celebrated in the café with lots of cupcakes. The residents and their families sang and danced along to some wartime tunes.

One of Mountbatten's carers, Grant Coomber, who writes his own songs such as “Come Back” “River Song” & "Destiny" will be one of the contestants in Mountbatten’s Got Talent on the 19th July. Challenging him to the crown is resident Ken who is very good at impersonating Roy Orbison and also Elv

Our Hemel Hempstead Home will be holding a Coffee Morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support on 26th August and would love to see you there!

Mountbatten Lodge are planning a fete on Saturday 6th June between 2.30pm – 4.30pm and there will be free entry for everyone! The staff & residents will be dressed as Disney characters which you are all welcome to also do!

Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Mountbatten Lodge for the care given to Mum during her short stay. Thank you also for the support and kindness show to us at all times and especially during her final hours. L and family x
