On 6th May Mountbatten had the Showtime Players come in and entertain the residents! Based in Warner's End, Hemel Hempstead, they are aged from 65 to 85. Their performance was amazing and it was especially wonderful when the 85 year olds sang solos. Image Baptist Church visit Mountbatten Lodge! The Baptist church hold a service at Mountbatten lodge once a month. They often bring their ventriloquist puppets to tell a light hearted story. This time they talked about celebrations in our life.. then they talked about the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection. Image St. George's Day celebrations at Mountbatten Lodge Here is what the Activities Team said about the event: "We celebrated St George's day in our café today with lots of baked cakes and dragon flags on the ceiling which we had coloured in with our residents … Freddy B also came to entertain us and he was absolutely fabulous and sang an array of songs Image Mountbatten celebrate Her Majesty's 89th birthday! The residents and staff of Mountbatten Lodge celebrated the Queen's birthday with lots of union jacks in the café. They held “Last Night at the Proms” and sang along to Jerusalem, Land of hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and then God Save the Queen..
