Mountbatten Lodge news

The chosen theme for the Global Food Day was Italy and Ellen, Chef at Mountbatten Lodge, cooked the residents lasagne, meatballs and tiramisu for afters.

The Mountbatten Lodge “Come Dine with Me” event was very successful. An impressive 10 members of the community attended from several warden controlled places. All of the guests and residents enjoyed a lovely buffet in the Best Friends café which Ellen had kindly prepared.

The Salvation Army delivered a service in the Mountbatten Sun Lounge on the 22nd February 2015. Lots of their band members attended and played some splendid hymns. The residents thought it was all very lovely and really enjoyed the event.

On 26th January a trip to St Alban's cathedral was organised for some of the residents at Mountbatten Lodge.
