Mountbatten Lodge Carer celebrates over 46 years working in care!

On Friday a very special celebration was held at Mountbatten Lodge in honour of Ingrid Harrington, whom has retired after working in care for an astounding forty-six years! Ingrid started as a Carer at Adeyfield Lodge, before it became Mountbatten Lodge in 1995, and her passion for the job was soon passed on to her daughter Carol, who is also a member of the team at our Hemel Hempstead Care Home and has spent over 35 years caring for others. Ingrid said she has always loved her job and was going to really miss all of the staff and residents. Care Team Manager Sandra Hennessy said "Ingrid has always been a fantastic carer and an invaluable member of our team. We are all going to miss her so much, but wish her the very best in her retirement."
