Pinewood Lodge news

Pinewood Lodge residents had great fun making and decorating pancakes yesterday! They all tucked in to the finished products and were delighted with the results!

Pinewood Lodge received a big thank you from Greenfields Primary School for inviting them along to join the residents for some singing! The residents loved having the children in the home and chatting with them, even giving them some gifts before they left.

Residents from Pinewood Lodge visited the Rickmansworth Aquadrome as part of the RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch! They spotted many different types of birds and were joined by the geese and swans who came up close to the group. Afterwards, they headed to the café for a bit of tea and cake!

Pinewood Lodge residents have been enjoying themselves making Christmas cards! They’re very pleased with the results and are looking forward to handing them out to family and friends of Pinewood Lodge!

Some of Pinewood Lodge’s residents took part in the 2017 Christmas Tree Festival! They decked out their tree in a silver theme for Quantum Care’s 25th birthday and took it along to display for members of the public to come and see!

Members of the Pinewood Lodge Q Club enjoyed two days of Remembrance Day commemorations with themed entertainment and a coffee morning. They also made a prayer tree and shared stories of their wartime experiences.

Residents and their families had a great time with quizzes, a sing along and a drink or two at Pinewood Lodge’s pub night!

Residents from Pinewood Lodge enjoyed a day out to the shops, stopping off at the cafe for a cup of tea and a bite to eat!

Pinewood Lodge residents were delighted to have Dave Brierley coming in to entertain, with help from the activity and day care staff as backing singers and dancers! The residents had a wonderful time, laughing, singing along and getting up to dance.
