<p>Willow Court in Harpenden have decided to a bit of crafting this week to spruce up their entrance windows.&nbsp; Residents lent a hand by decorating some stained glass pieces - great work!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

At Willow Court in Harpenden, the home helped a special couple celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with afternoon tea with brownies and champagne. Melvin had a lovely time with his family and couldn’t wait to hand over his homemade card and gifts. Congratulations!

Earlier this week it was #WorldLetterWritingDay, so residents at Willow Court in Harpenden enjoyed writing postcards and birthday cards to friends and loved ones and posting them in the home post box. 

Willow Court in Harpenden always like to go all out for national event days, and #NationalProseccoDay was no exception!  They enjoyed a glass of fizz and some Prosecco jelly with some snacks, as well as a few fun facts and some Pavarotti!  

International Elvis Presley Day was on Sunday, so Willow Court in Harpenden honoured the King with a bit of a party in Buttercup Lounge.  They had some fun props, a sing-along with some of his hits on the karaoke and, of course, some dancing!

Reading Club residents at Willow Court in Harpenden are thrilled with their newly decorated library room and they especially love the new cuckoo clock. Staff created this comfortable homely area where residents can choose a book to read in a peaceful setting. What a lovely idea!

Friday was International Beer Day!  Willow Court in Harpenden decided to celebrate the day with some cold beers – very welcome in this hot weather!  

Today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!  Willow Court in Harpenden decided to mark the occasion with a bit of cookie decorating, with a choice of chocolate orange, honeycomb, white chocolate, double chop chip or oat and honey cookies.
