100th Birthday Celebrations at Courtland Lodge
Our resident Lynda Buxton celebrated her 100th birthday in style. The opening of the queen’s card and telegram with Home manager Sarah, started the celebrations in the garden in company of other residents and family visiting. Lynda was delighted to also be presented with a coffee cake - her favourite! – and a buffet display made especially for her by the catering team. The Watford observer came to take a picture and her son Keith quoted Lynda's comment on achieving a great birthday that it wasn't a very big deal!
