Amazing Act of Generosity at Dukeminster Court

We were sent this very sad but absolutely incredible story from Dukeminster Court recently. One of their residents, a huge character on Market Cross Unit, passed away. In this very difficult time, the resident’s family decided to do something to help the home in caring for its residents and so asked everyone attending the funeral not to buy flowers but to donate to the home’s minibus find. By doing this, the family raised a staggering £850! It does not stop there, however, as this family are already planning a charity event for the near future to raise even more money for the minibus fund. This amazing generosity, particularly as such a difficult time for the family, is incredible to see and we would like to pass on our thanks and condolences, along with those of everyone at Dukeminster.
