Animal day at Fosse House

Fosse House care home in Ermine Close supported Dementia Awareness Week by opening their doors to a host of furry (and not so furry!) friends to raise money for the charity. On Thursday, the residents of Fosse House heard the patter of tiny paws as the staff at the Home brought their own pets in to work for the afternoon, including a bearded dragon! The staff also spent the day in animal themed fancy dress, and a few brave members of the team took part in the Home’s own version of the Bush Tucker Trial, as seen on the TV series I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here! James said “I have been working alongside people living with dementia for four years this April. During this time I have met and continue to meet some of the most amazing individuals. As a Dementia Champion for Quantum Care I want to do everything I possibly can to raise awareness for this cause.”
