Art Therapy at Providence Court

Lixi Chilbas is an art therapist who specialises in enabling people with dementia to create works of art. She has been visiting Providence Court every week to work with a group of residents to produce a beautiful multi-coloured collage. The collage has been designed and created by residents, and now takes pride of place on the wall.

Home Manager Karen Parker said “this has been a really fabulous project. We have really enjoyed having Lixi in the home, and the residents have shown such enthusiasm for the collage. We really hope to work with Lexi again soon”.
