MY DREAM When I was young, I wanted to be, A carer to look after the elderly. Now that I’m older and My dreams have come true. I look after the elderly The way I should do My days are hard My hours are long But we get by By singing songs. But in my heart I know it’s right I make sure their safe And can sleep at night In the morning When I awake I start a new day And I feel great So my dream has come true And I can say I work at Mountbatten and enjoy every day Kathy Bennett, Carer
