Bert's Birthday Lunch with Jubilee Court

Carers Jean and Georgia really went the extra mile (and then some!) to take Jubilee Court resident Bert out for his 98th birthday! The two of them pushed his wheelchair for a mile and a half each way as they took him to the Standing Order pub in Stevenage Old Town. Despite the painfully steep hill on the way back, the ladies felt it was more than worth it to see Bert’s face as he celebrated his special day with his favourite meal: steak and kidney pudding followed by fudge cake! Well done Jean and Georgia and happy birthday Bert!
