Terry, who has been a resident at the care home for over 7 years celebrated her 104th birthday with tea and cakes, surrounded by family and friends, and was delighted to have the Mayor of Buntingford, Councillor John Noades and Mayoress Janet Noades join her for the celebration. During her party at our Buntingford care home, Terry received lots of gifts, including a beautiful bouquet of flowers presented to her by the Mayor. When asked what her secret was to a long and happy life Terry believes it might be down to the cod liver oil she took as a child, but apparently she is also very fond of chocolate! Nevetts Home Manager Liz Cook said “We are so pleased to have the Mayor and Mayoress join us here today. We really wanted to make this day a special one for Terry – she is such a lovely lady, and a big part of our family here at Nevetts”
