Connaught Opera perform at Mountbatten Lodge!

The Mountbatten residents had a fabulous time in our Best Friends Café with Maria Arakie and the Connaught Opera who performed there on Friday for the last time. This was the last of 6 performances paid for by the Arts Council. Maria’s dresses were beautiful as usual and the residents were totally spellbound by the whole performance and they enjoyed the wonderful classical and operatic songs sung and played by their pianist. At the end, in way of thanks, the home presented Maria with a beautiful spray of flowers and bottles of wine for pianist Nicholas Bosworth and Glenn Wilson - Maria's singing partner.
