Dukeminster Court to Mountbatten Lodge Silver Walk

Congratulations to all walkers that attended our 14th Silver Walk, not far short of 14 miles from Dukeminster Court in Dunstable to Mountbatten Lodge in Hemel Hempstead. Even Storm Eleanor wasn’t going to put off this team of dedicated walkers. It was a hard slog but with lots of team spirit, fun, laughter and supporting one another along the way they made it to Mountbatten Lodge who had put on a lovely welcome tea in the Best Friends Café. A special thanks to Mark Hayter husband of Dee (Activity Care Worker at Dukeminster), Mark followed the walkers as a support vehicle throughout the day allowing them to stop for drinks and snacks before finding a pub that was!
