Events that occurred during the week commencing 16th March at Richard Cox House

Monday 16th: Tea tasting. There were lots of different types of teas to try but the residents insisted drinking their normal cups of teas instead of the flavoured ones! Tuesday 17th: St. Patrick's Day! There were many breads and cakes from Ireland available to try and also the delicious Irish liquor drink Guinness. The residents enjoyed the fruity breads more than the soda bread. Wednesday 18th: The home hosted an American themed tea party from the wild west! Elvis came to entertain at 2pm which the residents really enjoyed; they got into spirit with their banners and sang along to every song. Thursday 19th: Fruit exotica!! Residents tried different fruits and fruit juice flavours that got their taste buds tingling. Some were more popular than others! Friday 20th: Cheese board consisted of the residents trying different flavours of cheese such as garlic, cranberry, apricot and spring onion.
