Fosse House Activity Trolleys

Fosse House staff set themselves the challenge of acquiring and making four activity trolleys – one for each unit – and fifth Namaste trolley for use across the home. They managed to get hold of one trolley, free of charge, and activity worker Julie Harmer transformed it into a wonderfully decorated and fully kitted out activity trolley! The trolley was so popular that, with a little fast talking, the home managed to get another four trolleys. After two weeks of hard work from Julie, every unit was given a completed activity trolley in addition to the shared Namaste trolley! These are filled with things including bubble guns, arts and crafts games, nail varnishes, knitting materials and more for to suit residents looking for fun and games or some sensory activities. The total cost of all of this came to £250, so thank you for all of those who donated to the sponsored walk and even more so to those who joined in for making these latest additions possible!
