Fosse House Summer Party

Saturday 19th August saw residents, staff and families at Fosse House celebrating their annual summer garden party in traditional English country style! The entertainment kicked off with the St. Albans Morris men flourishing staves and scarves with a fantastic performance for the guests. Staff were drafted in for the last dance, much to the amusement of onlookers, and hilarity ensued as the inevitable missteps and wrong turns mounted up! Hot on the Morris men's heels, professional singer Kerry regaled everyone with a fabulous old time medley from across the decades that got everyone's feet tapping and filled the dance floor. The festivities were topped off with a beautifully presented high tea buffet. Becky from ‘Vintage at Home’ ran a reminiscent cosmetic stall with an additional selection of Avon products. The ever popular tombola was a big hit, and traditional lawn games such as croquet and petanque were also on offer throughout the afternoon. A massive thank you to all the staff and friends of Fosse that helped make the event a resounding success!
