Good Care Week at Quantum Care!!

[[{"type":"media","view_mode":"media_large","fid":"2490","attributes":{"class":"media-image aligncenter size-full wp-image-9969","typeof":"foaf:Image","style":"","width":"550","height":"438","title":"Good Care Week at Quantum Care","alt":""}}]] This week is Good Care Week, a UK wide annual awareness campaign which aims to celebrate and promote excellence in social care, and to support this our Homes will be opening their doors to demonstrate what good care looks like at Quantum! We have a number of events taking place this week from knitting clubs and pampering sessions, to gardening, coffee mornings and a spring fair so do pop by to your local Quantum Home and support this wonderful campaign! Below are the events taking place throughout the week: Tuesday 28th April Fosse House, St Albans - Seated exercise with a smile from 11am The Mead, Borehamwood - Film club with popcorn from 2pm Tye Green Lodge, Harlow - A return visit from ‘’Elvis’’ – apparently he is the double of the King of Rock and Roll! Wednesday 29th April Dukeminster Court, Dunstable - Afternoon Tea at our new Home from 3pm The Fairway, Oxhey - Knitting in the garden with tea and cakes from 10.30am Mountbatten Lodge, Hemel Hempstead - Pampering with refreshments served in Aunty Peg’s from 10.30am Nevetts, Buntingford - Gardening with coffee and cake from 10.30am Pinewood Lodge, Oxhey - Coffee morning from 10.30am Hyde Valley House, Welwyn Garden City - Gardening Club Trefoil House, Luton - Dinky’s Diner on the road – our Trefoil activity team will be outside the Home selling their famous cakes to the public from 3.15pm-3.45pm so do pop by! Thursday 30th April Trefoil House, Luton – O’Brien’s, Trefoil’s famous bar will be open from 1pm-3.30pm so do come on in for a drink, or something to eat! Friday 1st May Tye Green Lodge, Harlow - Anastasia will be popping by to entertain our residents in Essex Vesta Lodge, St Albans - Greek Day to mark the Greek National Day, with music, hummus and more!! The Mead, Borehamwood - Gardening Club Fourfields, Cheshunt – Coffee morning from 11.30am Willow Court, Harpenden – Coffee morning from 11am in the new Best Friends Cafe! Saturday 2nd May Meresworth, Rickmansworth - Spring Fair from 2pm with stalls, a raffle, strawberry cream teas and more! Mayfair Lodge, Potters Bar - Gardening Club from 11am Hyde Valley House, Welwyn Garden City - Come along for a coffee and a chat in the morning, or join our Internet Discovery session in the afternoon, exploring the World Wide Web! Sunday 3rd May Trefoil House, Luton - Flurnards Nail Salon will be open from 2.30pm – 6pm for a cut or even a colour - come along and treat yourself!
